[Preview] Collaboration with Sherry Lu Photography.

Hello readers! It’s been a while since I’ve been able to post a real post, I know, but I promise there are some coming up very soon. Meanwhile here’s a preview for yet another collaboration I did with the lovely Vancouver-based Sherry Lu Photography. She’s becoming quite the regular partner in crime whenever she’s in Los Angeles, taking beautiful pictures for me. I enjoyed working with her again a few months ago and it’s taken us a while, but we’re getting to these pictures, promise.

In the meantime, here’s a sneak preview. Head over to http://sherry-lu.com to see more of her beautiful photos!

A new photoshoot with Sherry Lu Photography.

Mock two-piece gray and pink dress, Brick Lane. Cardigan, Sparkle and Fade (Urban Outfitters)
Pink braided necklace, Forever 21. Polka-dot tights, ZARA. Oxford booties, ALDO’s.

Not only do I have an unusual photographer for this post.. even the dress is unusual. This is the first of many dresses from Asia I’m planning to share with you! This Brick Lane dress is from a Korean brand, and I’m really loving all the Korean styles I’ve been wearing lately.

I have previously had the privilege to work with Sherry Lu Photography for some fun photoshoots before, but this week I have not one, not two, but FOUR outfits to share with you, all photographed by the fantastic Sherry Lu. This is actually a different Sherry than the Sherry who usually photographs me for this blog, but this time she is here in these photos with me! How exciting is that? If you are interested in what she is wearing, I’ll be coming back to this post to update on her clothes. :)

I’m really excited to share the rest of this series with you so keep an eye out! Also, a quick plug for Sherry Lu–she does great wedding and engagement photos, as well as photoshoots of all shapes and sizes, so if you are looking for a photographer in the Vancouver area, you should definitely browse her site, see her work, and see if that’s a possibility for you! Enjoy. :)

Final portion of Sherry Lu Photography collaboration.

I really love this BCBG dress. On this particular day I completely forgot to wear a slip under it, but Sherry Lu was gracious and forgiving and took beautiful pictures anyway, avoiding any bra slips easily. Oops! The dress looks almost like cotton but feels and looks sooo smooth. It goes beautifully with my 4 inch tall Nine West sandals (which were on sale at Nordstrom when I bought them for a mere $40!). These don’t look very comfortable but they actually are—and they’re relatively light too considering how much of a platform there is on it. It’s real wood and super cute. Clackity clackity clack clack.

This is the final portion of my collaboration with Sherry Lu. She had to go back to Canada, or I would be bugging her every week to do some pictures or me. Is she not just amazing? I urge you all to go visit her site at http://sherry-lu.com. If you have any kind of wedding needs in the greater Vancouver area, or any other sort of need for a professional photographer, you especially need to check out her romantic, whimsical work. She is so fun and easy to work with and makes me feel at ease even though I’m not so good with the picture thing, or even with my heels, but she is super patient. :) Thank you for a wonderful collaboration, Sherry!
